Roll up, roll up! Staff and residents from care village Belong Newcastle-under-Lyme pose with banners they painted by hand for the AstleyFest parade with the help of schoolchildren from Blackfriars Academy and community art company, Letting In the Light.

The free festival celebrated the ‘father of modern circus’ Philip Astley in his hometown of Newcastle-under-Lyme, with circus performances, magicians, horse shows and military displays.
