Talents in Bloom
Let your talents bloom in our fortnightly flower arranging workshops. Sessions take place on alternate Wednesdays, starting on 5 June, and run from 2pm – 4pm in the Arts and Crafts Room. Cost £3 each, which includes the cost of the flowers to take home with you afterwards; early booking essential.
Enjoy a visit to the World famous Blackpool illuminations with us on Thursday 24 October. If you’d like to join us for this light show spectacular, which has delighted families since 1897, we’ll be leaving the village at 2pm. Cost £25; early booking essential.
It will be treats galore at our Halloween spooktacular on Wednesday 30 October at 6pm. Join us for a fancy dress party in The Venue with live music and entertainment and take part in our pumpkin carving competition. Entry £3.50 for adults and £2 for children, there will be basket meals available to buy, and prizes for the best fancy dress and pumpkin; early booking essential.
We will launch our brand new fortnightly reminiscence sessions, starting on Wednesday 12 June. Sessions run from 2pm – 4pm and are an ideal opportunity to share memories and to meet new people. Free entry; booking required.

Guy Fawkes heritage talk
Remember, remember the fifth of November. Take an interesting look back at the events of Guy Fawkes Night during a free Heritage talk and film on Tuesday 5 November. Join Belong’s Heritage Coordinator, Daniel Turner, in the Heritage Gallery at 2pm to see what you will discover. Entry is free; booking essential.
Take a musical trip down memory lane on Thursday 14 November at 2pm when vocalist, Stacey Cowe, will perform a variety of popular songs from the forties, fifties and sixties. Entry £3 per ticket. Come along and join us for a sing-along; booking essential.
Come along to our Christmas market on Saturday 30 November from 11am. There will be a wonderful festive atmosphere with music, activities and raffles, plus stalls to browse for that ideal gift. The Bistro will be selling roast turkey and stuffing baps plus mulled wine and kids can visit Santa in his grotto. Entry is free; charges apply for food and activities.
