Birthday celebrations

Belong Newcastle will celebrate its first year anniversary and successful heritage bid with a party on Tuesday 9 April.
It will be open house as we join forces with the Heritage Lottery Fund to host a day of celebration, marking the milestone of £5 million donated by the HLF to various projects in the town, thanks to National Lottery players. Enjoy exhibitions, displays, pub games in the Old Pomona, print making in the arts and crafts studio and of course birthday cake in Samuel Bell’s Tea Room; from 1:30pm – 4:30pm! The Civic Society

Join us for a fascinating talk about foul deeds and suspicious deaths in Staffordshire and the Potteries on Monday 15 April.
Take your seat in The Venue at 7:30pm to discover interesting facts during an hour-long presentation by Nick Corder from The Civic Society. Entry is free; booking essential.

Happy Easter

Enjoy an Easter inspired afternoon tea in Samuel Bell’s Tea Room on Good Friday (19 April), Easter Sunday (21 April) and Bank Holiday Monday (22 April) for just £7.95 per head.

Royal bake off

Create your very best Victoria sponge to enter into our royal bake off competition and cake sale. Join us in Samuel Bell’s Tea Room on Friday 24 May.
Judging will take place during the cake sale and the winner will be announced afterwards. It’s free to enter and proceeds from the cake sale will go to support the village’s activity programme for residents. Contact reception for times and to book.

Free day care – Dementia Action Week

Try our popular day club for yourself and experience community life in Belong Newcastle-under-Lyme with a free ‘taster’ session during Dementia Action Week. Belong’s day club offers customers the opportunity to join in with a huge variety of activities for £67.50 per day and includes lunch in The Bistro and free access to our state-of-the-art exercise studio (one session per week). Pomona pottery exhibition

Enjoy a guided tour of the Heritage Gallery and explore our exhibition of Pomona pottery from the 1740s, as well as artefacts on loan from the Bramptom Museum and Apedale Heritage Centre.
